We understand how stressful it is moving overseas, whether you, your family or your pets, including buying a puppy or kitten overseas and needing to get them home. When you are not familiar with the various constrictions of international travel for animals, it can be a daunting and confusing task, where errors can create great or costly problems.

The team here at "Our Dogs & Cats Pet Transport" are experienced pet transport agents with a wealth of knowledge and skills to keep your pet safe and compliant as they travel. It is our goal to make the transport process for you as easy and smooth as possible. Our most popular service is a complete package where we will complete everything on your behalf, from the very beginning until arrival home to you. These services include (but are not limited to);

• Personalised paperwork preparation,
• Constant document review to ensure compliance with regulations,
• Applying for import permits,
• Arranging quarantine stays,
• Providing clear and simplified step by step instructions of when to perform vet work,
• Booking flights,
• Providing domestic transport, both home and abroad,
• Boarding in overseas settings (both commercial and in home (where available)),
• Government documentation, each Australian, New Zealand and overseas.

Essentially any step required for your pet's transport, we will arrange and oversee. As part of these services, we liaise with all required parties, such as breeders/caretakers of the animals, airlines, governments (home and abroad), vets, laboratories and cargo partners. We also provide more basic task lists for clients wanting to complete tasks themselves, and thus only requiring certain services from ourselves.

We have particular specialisation in moving animals from non-approved countries to Australia and New Zealand, providing boarding options in several approved countries where we can complete all of your pet's required needs.

Import Specialist

From a young age, the love of animals was always with me, so it was a natural progression come adulthood to become involved in the dog fraternity, competing with and breeding my chosen breed (and crazy passion) of Dalmatians. By chance in 2020 I started working in the pet transport industry, which suited my personality to a tee. I was able to bring in my skills developed over the years from university, accountancy practices, hospitality, trades and management positions to provide a well planned and managed service to clients, in order to make their import as smooth and stress free as possible.

Due to the longer timeframe of this work, this position enables me to build long standing relationships with customers, where it is a joy to spend my days working with fellow animal lovers. With my own passions, it is easy to connect with our like minded clients, who are passionate about their own breeds, including breeders and families from all over the world.
It is a bonus to be able to meet in person the animals that I have assisted to travel to Australia, as well as seeing their successes (for competing pooches and kitties). Although a breeder myself, my dogs are still my pets and sleep on my bed, so assisting to bring over relocating pets with their families is just as exciting, especially seeing their adventures along the way (some of these animals are better travelled than me) and the beautiful reunions once pets are reunited with their families.
